“At $69.97 this starts making sense if you already had Dunk Low Mens Lifestyle Shoe - Black/White on your radar.”
Who it's for
At $69.97 this starts making sense if you already had Dunk Low Mens Lifestyle Shoe - Black/White on your radar. The 42% discount is good money, especially compared with paying $120, but I am not in automatic-cop territory just because a sale tag is attached to it. The wardrobe still has to make sense.
Runner first, lifestyle second
Dunks are another category where the market finally came back to earth. There was a stretch where basic colorways felt impossible to buy without dealing with resale nonsense. Now discounts are normal enough that I do not think anybody should feel rushed. That is good for the buyer. It means you can treat a Dunk like what it is: a simple casual sneaker that works with a lot of clothes. If the colorway fits your wardrobe, $69.97 is a fair place to buy. If you are only buying because you remember when people were paying stupid money for Dunks, leave that nostalgia at the door.
Price context
We have 3 tracked observations on this one so far, and $69.97 is the lowest price we have tracked. I would not call that some all-time low because our history is still young, but it is useful context. The inventory note we captured was "Near full size run." That matters because the best theoretical price means nothing if your size is gone. My last check is the boring stuff people skip when the percentage gets exciting: shipping, return policy and fit confidence. A 42% markdown can still get ruined by fifteen or twenty dollars of shipping, a final-sale policy or a return process that makes you regret the whole thing. Shop Nice Kicks is where the deal is sitting, so check the current page before buying because prices and sizes move. If you already like Dunk Low Mens Lifestyle Shoe - Black/White, can see how it fits into your wardrobe and you are comfortable at $69.97, I would rather make the decision on that than sit around trying to nail the absolute bottom. If you are lukewarm, waiting is free. Another deal will come.
Before you buy
The other thing I would not do is overthink a good price once the shoe already passes your personal test. Price history is useful, but it can turn into procrastination. I have watched models get cheaper and cheaper, then the brand catches another wave of popularity and suddenly the deep discounts disappear. I have also watched shoes slowly sell out until the only pairs left are useless sizes. So yes, shop smart, but do not turn deal hunting into a game where you can only win by buying at the exact bottom. If the shoe fits the wardrobe, the size is there and the number feels right, that is enough.
