“The New Balance 740 Sandstone Infield Clay on sale revives an unsung hero from the brand’s basketball archives with a touch of refined flair.”
Who it's for
The New Balance 740 Sandstone Infield Clay on sale revives an unsung hero from the brand’s basketball archives with a touch of refined flair. This high-top carries serious retro weight, channeling that 1980s hardwood energy but softening it with Sandstone suede and Infield Clay detailing. It feels vintage in shape but completely fresh in tone. Inside, NB’s cushioned midsole and padded collar ensure this pair walks the line between lifestyle ease and throwback performance. It’s got the stability and ankle support of a true court shoe, balanced with the plush step-in feel that modern NB wearers expect. The materials feel premium—textured, structured, and built for longevity. Visually, the New Balance 740 Sandstone Infield Clay on sale is an easy conversation starter. It’s the kind of sneaker that fits right alongside modern silhouettes like the 550 or 650, but with extra character. I love how it pairs with wide trousers, heavy denim, or even cropped tech pants—it carries that perfect mix of retro toughness and quiet confidence. For anyone who missed this silhouette the first time around, this reissue is the perfect way to reconnect with NB’s old-school spirit.
