This whole Adidas terrace family has been beaten to death by the trend cycle, but I still separate “popular” from “bad.” A good classic silhouette does not suddenly stop working because everybody discovered it at the same time. Gazelles, Sambas and Handball-style shoes have been around way longer than the current Instagram wave. The trick is styling them like a normal shoe instead of wearing the exact same uniform as everybody else. I like the narrower shape with wider trousers, straight denim and shorts. Suede and gum soles are also good at aging without looking destroyed after two wears. At $60, I care a lot less about whether the internet has declared the trend over. If you can see five or six outfits immediately, the shoe is still doing its job.

The inventory note we captured was "Prime sizes remain." That matters because the best theoretical price means nothing if your size is gone. My last check is the boring stuff people skip when the percentage gets exciting: shipping, return policy and fit confidence. A 50% markdown can still get ruined by fifteen or twenty dollars of shipping, a final-sale policy or a return process that makes you regret the whole thing.
